What changed

Google released detailed text asset guidelines for AI Max campaigns
Includes minimum headline and description requirements plus quality scoring criteria
AI Max is Google's latest campaign type using AI to generate and optimise creative across Search, Display, YouTube and Discover

What it means

AI Max is Google's push to automate campaign creation end-to-end. The new guidelines tell you exactly what inputs Google's AI needs to perform well. If you feed it weak text assets, the AI generates weak variations. Quality in, quality out. This also signals that AI Max is moving from beta toward becoming the default campaign type.

What to do

Review Google's new text asset guidelines and audit your existing AI Max campaigns against them.
Write 8-10 strong headlines and 4-5 descriptions per ad group.
Make sure your final URLs point to relevant landing pages, not your homepage.
If you haven't tried AI Max yet, start with a single product or service line where you have strong conversion data. Let Google's AI prove itself before expanding.
