HubSpot launched HubSpot AEO as part of its Spring 2026 Spotlight. The tool tracks how your business appears in AI answer engines like ChatGPT, Gemini and Perplexity.
A new Breeze Prospecting Agent automates outbound prospecting by identifying and engaging potential leads using AI.
Additional updates include Smart Deal Progression and an improved Customer Agent for support automation.

What it means

HubSpot is making a direct play for the AEO market before most businesses even know what it is. If you use HubSpot, you now have a native way to monitor whether AI chatbots mention your brand and how they describe you. This matters because AI-generated answers are increasingly replacing traditional search results as the first touchpoint for buyers. The Prospecting Agent is also worth watching for Australian B2B companies looking to automate top-of-funnel outreach.

What to do

If you are on HubSpot, activate the AEO tool and run a baseline scan of your brand's AI visibility
