GA4 Now Imports Meta Ads and TikTok Ads Data Directly

What changed

GA4 now supports native import of Meta Ads and TikTok Ads data including cost, clicks and impressions
This joins existing Google Ads integration for a more complete cross-channel view inside GA4
No third-party connectors required for basic cost and performance data from these platforms

What it means

For years, getting Meta and TikTok spend data into GA4 required third-party tools or manual uploads. That barrier is gone. Australian businesses running paid campaigns across Google, Meta and TikTok can now see cross-channel performance in one place without paying for additional reporting tools. This makes GA4 a genuine cross-channel analytics platform rather than just a Google Ads companion.

What to do

Connect your Meta Ads and TikTok Ads accounts to GA4 via the new import settings
Verify the imported data matches your platform dashboards for the first week
Set up cross-channel comparison reports to identify where your cost per conversion is strongest
Review whether you can retire any paid third-party reporting connectors that were bridging this gap
