What it means

Your product catalogue is now discoverable through AI assistants, not just search engines. When someone asks ChatGPT "best gift for a runner," your products can appear if you're on Shopify and your data is structured correctly. This is a new organic discovery channel with zero ad spend.

What to do

If you're on Shopify, check your admin for the Agentic Storefronts setting.
Ensure product titles, descriptions and attributes are written for AI comprehension, not just SEO keywords.
Clear, factual product descriptions outperform marketing fluff in AI contexts.
Add specific attributes (material, use case, price range) that AI systems use to match intent.
